Absolute gem of a restaurant. The food was outstanding, the Ragu in particular was excellent. My wife and I also enjoyed a great bottle of red wine; they had a few to choose from. The outdoor seating was perfect, given the warm weather. Highly recommend.
Spaghetti alla vongole was so good that I went back the next day for lunch again! The portions were massive and quite filling. Service was very nice and welcoming. The quality and taste on both days were the same except that on the second day, many clams were empty. A bit of a disappointment. However, I would definitely recommend and go back again myself.
Very very nice place, the best pasta I've eaten since my grandmas!! Good wine, good coffee, no complaints :)
We spent a week in Bologna and visited different restaurants every day. Ristorante Teresina was the best of them. The food was absolutely fantastic (and I could tell the other guests shared my opinion). It is a rather small restaurant situated at the end of an alley; quiet and very cosy. Very recommendable.
If you’re looking for bad food in Italy, this is the place for you. The ambiance is great, but that’s about it. The service was awkward and the food was some of the worst I’ve ever had.
Edited to respond to the owner:
The zucchini flowers were flavorless. The cheese in the tortellini was curdled and barely had flavor. The best part of the prawn dish was the anchovies, which aren’t even advertised in the description of the food. The only reason we at the food is because we needed to eat and my wife has a guilt complex.
In terms of service, the waiter brought us three menus for four people. The person who brought the wine poured it in the wrong glass and then gave very dissimilar amounts to each of us. Everyone was friendly, but it was awkward.
None of this has anything to do with the fact that we had a baby with us.
We spent our last evening in this restaurant.
We managed to make a reservation, it was Saturday and it was really hard to find availability.
We got a place outside, which was nice because the weather was great!
We had a tagliere of cold cuts and cheeses which was amazing, another appetizer with eggplant (unfortunately i don't have a photo of that), which was also very tasty and 2 pasta dishes, one tagliatelle with ragu(very traditional) and another one, papardele with mushrooms. Both of them were so good and super tasty and also really big portions.
Of course we couldn't miss dessert and we did good because it was amazing!!!
Prices are ok, considering that the place is in the very center of Bologna.
You can try it if you are in the area!!!
Dinner was lovely! We had the Tortellini in sage butter, and it was absolutely delicious. Excellent service and wine too. Highly recommend!
Tourist trap, beautiful location but flavourless and disappointing food. We had the burrata antipasti which had a strong metallic taste, tagliatelle ragu bolognese and gnocchi melanzane. The main courses were over cooked (my boyfriend perfectly described both as mush) the tomatoes were canned which is surprising as there is a surplus of markets in the area. Bread is recycled and stale, if you discover bites in your bread tomorrow, that’s mine. After 20 minutes of discussion amongst themselves the servers graciously left our main courses out of the bill.
